Have you ever captured what you thought the perfect picture just find that the color is slightly off, too dark or washed out….or maybe you just want more punch in you color or a crisper black and white or sepia then a photo lab can offer I think I can help!!!

Creative Enhancements can be applied to any of your photos for

$10.00 per photo/per (1) enhancement and

$5.00 per additional enhancement on that photo.

You will receive that file then in jpeg form for personal printing/reproduction.

For large batch order enhancements:
10 - 20 photos all needing the same enhancements I can offer a discount of $5.00 per photo per 1 enhancement and $2.50 per additional enhancement.

Turn around on these orders are usually less than 24 hours but could take up to 48hrs depending on the size of your order.

Ordering Process:

You will attach the original jpeg file and email it to me with specific detailed instructions to your hopeful expectations.

I will run some variations and send you a link to view your photo and decide what you like…upon payment for the selected Enhancements you will receive your JPEG emailed to you for use.

Should you be dissatisfied with any enhancement applied to your photo you will only be charged for JPEGS ordered only and you at no obligation to purchase any of the enhancements that you do not like!

Once your jpeg is emailed to you all sales are final so please be certain of the your screen color accuracy…an easy way is to take a file you have already printed and compare it to the colors on your screen and adjust your screen accordingly!

PORTRAIT sESSION dETAILS

D E T A I L S

The location of your session is entirely up to you, although I can offer suggestions. I really pride myself in my portraits that are captured by natural light photography and therefore need a brightly sunlit room and or outdoor settings where open shade is ideal. Sessions will range on average from 30 to 45 minutes in most cases but please understand that it often takes time for a child to feel comfortable and relaxed. All photographs are shot in digital color but may be presented in black and white, Mocha & sepia toning as well. If a more artistic flare is what you desire I can accommodate with Eye Popping Deeply Saturated Colors or if it is a soft vintage tone you desire through my creative talents that too I can provide for you and your cherished memories.

What to wear

The key to a timeless portrait is K.I.S.S. “Keep it Simple Silly”. Dress in something comfortable and casual and choosing to stick with the basics Vs. trends will create timeless portraits. Solid colors in muted tones look best, especially in black and white images. Textures such as denim knit, and khaki also work well. Avoid choosing busy patterns and print, as they will distract from your portrait. Solid clothes help to keep the focus on the face and not the clothing. My favorites: denim, khaki, overalls, sundresses, bare feet, and naked babies! Bare feet give a natural and casual feel and often look best. You are welcome to bring a change of clothing and if time allows you can feel free to change. A few other suggestions are rich deep velvet reds and if it is bright colors you desire go with a pattern of bright multi colors for best results. Some costumes & props are available too such as Tutu’s and Fairy Wings.

Viewing and Ordering the portraits

Your portraits will be available for viewing within 7 to 10 days following your session (but in most cases within 48 hours). Rush services are available for a slight additional charge. You may choose to view them online or we can meet to review the proofs together. Prints are available for pick up in about 7-10 business days from date of order. Or Rush Delivery is available for an additional $15 allowing prints to be available to you within 2-3 business based on nature of prints ordered & orders placed and confirmed by noon CST. Files are kept for 2 months allowing you to place additional orders if you chose.

Looking to Photograph a Newborn?

The typical newborn session should take palce within 10 days of birth. So I am only half kidding around with you when I say, "I will meet you home from the hospital". In all seriousness the younger, the better! I can even arrange for a session at the hospital if you prefer. The reason I prefer fresh newborns because they are less likely to be disturbed while sleeping, they are much easier to pose and less likely to have newborn acne which usually flares up around 3 weeks of age Newborn sessions will inmost cases take place in your home and can include parents. You don't have to worry about hair and make up Mommy I can focus on the neck down. I will like for you or dad to please have ready a black shirt and pants if at all possible for you photo shoot to insure the best quality Black Background Newborn Pictures. One more reason to get those pic's early is so you can take advantage of my full service Baby Announcements...I will even do the mailing labels seal and mail them out for you if you desire. Session Details

The session fee covers pre-session phone and email consultations to answer your questions, travel to and from your home or the location of your choice (an additional travel fee will apply if you are located outside Milwaukee Co. in the amount beginning @ $25 and increased fee with distance), the time and talent involved in creating your portraits and a selection of 25-30 images from your session presented for your review at an in-person proofing appointment, Online Viewing & Ordering. The session fee includes two adults and up to three children in the same immediate family. Each additional subject is $25(This includes Pets). For Larger Families I will quote you individually. A $75 reservation Fee is due payable in advance to reserve your appointment time and is non-refundable without 48hr advance Notice, this fee is then applied to your session. Should you not reschedule within 1 month of cancellation your Reservation fee will be forfeited. Additional Park Fees May Apply to sessions at Botanical Garden and Domes Locations and can be discussed at time of booking. Your Session is approximately 1 hour. Additional time can be purchased at $50 per 1/2 hour. Birthday & Event Packages are available starting @ $200 for 2 hours $250 for 3 hours.

Photography Permits You will be responsible for these fees on your own as they are not figured into the cost of the package you have Purchased UNLESS OF COURSE prior arrangements have been made and an agreement signed.

Boerner Botanical Gardens is available for commercial photo shots and wedding photos with the purchase of a photography permit. The cost of a photo permit is $45, per hour, plus tax, and can be used throughout the Gardens. Per-person admission to the Gardens is additional.

It is important to determine what approach is best for you. A Traditional Photographer usually uses a carefully planned "shot list," which means you'll get all the important images. Drawbacks: The photographer virtually becomes a "wedding official," directing the wedding party and guests according to a pre-planned list. This approach is very time consuming, and as a result, the bride and groom end up spending less time with their guests. The wedding album look is attractive, yet predictable.
While the Photojournalistic Photographer will feature a series of candid photos covering the entire day giving you a series of unique images designed to "tell the story" of your day. This is something you need to consider carefully, when you decide.
I consider myself to be a Photojournalistic Wedding Photographer as far as my preferred style of photography goes. It is my goal to use photography to tell the story of your wedding day, not dictate it for you. I offer a new perspective on wedding photography – quietly capturing the real moments as they happen. This style of wedding photography has become very popular in recent years. It features a series of candid photographs covering the entire day. One of the greatest benefits of a photojournalistic approach for your wedding photography is that it will allow you to acquire a series of unique images that “tell a story “with out anyone ever uttering a word. There can be some drawback to this approach since there is no-preplanned “shot list” because as a photographer I am acting on instincts, and the images are that of an unpredictable nature. Spontaneity is my focal point as far as my photography style is concerned. Now if it is traditional posed photographs that you desire, I can accommodate those too but my creativity is better displayed in my candid work.
